Course Highlights:
- Introduction to Music Notation: Understanding the basics of music notation, including symbols, notes, and rhythms.
- Staff Notation: Learning the elements of staff notation, including the staff, clefs, note values, rests, time signatures, and key signatures.
- Reading and Writing Staff Notation: Practicing reading and writing music using staff notation for various instruments and voices.
- Solfa Notation: Introduction to the solfa system (solfège), including the use of solfa syllables (Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Ti) and hand signs.
- Relative and Fixed Do Systems: Exploring the differences between the relative and fixed Do systems and their applications.
- Sight-Singing: Developing the ability to sight-sing using both staff and solfa notations, enhancing pitch recognition and musical memory.
- Transcription Skills: Transcribing music from staff to solfa notation and vice versa.
